Summary: ABSTRACT: Executive Order 26 or the 'smoking ban' was implemented to address the huge burden of smoking in the Philippines. As studies evaluating its impact are lacking, we aimed to determine the effects of its implementation on the smoking behavior of moderate to heavy smokers, based on 1) volume of cigarettes smoked daily; 2) location of smoking ; and 3) engagement of alternatives to smoking.
