Summary: ABSTRACT: A descriptive study on the awareness on policies on the admission, promotion, retention and dismissal, and existence of student services of FEU-NRMF medical students from first year to fourth year level officially enrolled this SY 2004-2005 was conducted. The response of the 823 medical students, through a self-administered survey, were gathered and the results were organized and tallied according to fully awareness, partial awareness, and unawareness of the medical students regarding the policies on admission, retention, and dismissal. In line with this, the percentage of awareness on each policy category was assessed as to total medical student population and per year level. The areas with the least and the most degree of awareness and unawareness were determined accordingly. Recommendations were made and an action plan was proposed to increase the awareness of the medical students, which was the objective of the study.
