Summary: Abstract: This study mainly focuses on determining if Cyberchondria has a significant relationship with Mental Strain of Senior High School students to give awareness and knowledge on how Cyberchondria relates to mental strain and how it affects an individual's tension that they have to endure. The study's main objective is to give solution and conclusion to problems that relate to the relationship between Cyberchondria and mental strain of the senior high school students by answering the research questions. This study used a mixed method that involved qualitative and quantitative parts specifically, the researchers used an explanatory research design since this study also focuses on a problem that has not been well studied before. As for the quantitative part, the researchers used correlational research design and for the qualitative part, a phenomenological research design is the most appropriate since it focused more on the severity of the cyberchondria that students have. Moreover, it was found that majority of the students are experiencing high level of severity of cyberchondria. It was also found out that half of the respondents from the Senior High School students of FEU-NRMF have high level of mental strain and almost half of the respondents have moderate level of mental strain which shows that overall, Senior High Students were enduring moderate to high level of mental strain. From all the data gathered, it was concluded that there is a significant relationship between cyberchondria and mental strain. A factor that increased the severity of cyberchondria that the respondents are experiencing is also discovered which is the fear of getting COVID-19 brought by the pandemic. The respondents are experiencing a high level of mental strain because of high severity of cyberchondria, and it shows that there is a positive moderate correlation between the severity of cyberchondria and the level of mental strain.
