Summary: Abstract: Nursing home is known for its patient centered care for the elderly, providing their needs and assisting them on their daily lives. Nursing home care is highly regulated in some countries. High-quality institutions provide care and treatment of adults who have severe physical health concerns and/or mental disabilities due to aging. Most countries in Asia have nursing homes for their elderly to take care of them while they are at work or when no one will be there to look after them. The research wanted to know the perception of middle-aged adults whether it is negative or positive through factors. Such factors are psychological, financial, environmental, physical and emotional. They are identified to determine which factor has an impact that causes them to consider nursing or not. Furthermore, the research used survey tool in collecting and analyzing the data regarding the perspective of middle-aged adults in nursing home retirement. The said instrument contained related questions that would elicit responses from the respondents, and that would be easily tallied to find out the middle-aged adults perception about nursing home. The research was conducted to FEU-NRMF employees who are willing to partake in the study. It would help them and others who have similar perception or if one has a different perception on their own. Results showed that the retirement age for the middle-aged adults were 47 years old. Furthermore, it showed that there was a relationship to significant factors to correlation of nursing home retirement since the null hypothesis was rejected. It was recommended to conduct similar study in the future to consider other indicators and locality in order to validate the results of the study.
