A 30-item questionnaire was used to determine their level of awareness with regards to the epidemiology, signs and symptoms, and prevention of the disease. Generally, the respondents were aware of the epidemiology and signs and symptoms of dengue, but only 30.44% of them were aware regarding its prevention.
