Abstract: This descriptive study aims to determine the level of awareness on dengue fever among parents residing at Barangay Fairview, Quezon City. Cluster sampling was employed and a total of 372 parents were included in the study. A 30-item questionnaire was used to determine their level of awareness with regards to the epidemiology, signs and symptoms, and prevention of the disease. Generally, the respondents were aware of the epidemiology and signs and symptoms of dengue, but only 30.44% of them were aware regarding its prevention. Information dissemination campaigns and other health programs should therefore focus on the prevention of dengue.
