SNKI CAMARIN, CALOOCAN CITY FROM 2009 TO 2012, WITH A RISING PREVALENCE OF UNCTROLLED CASES DUE TO NON-COMLIANCE TO TREATMENT REGIMEN, POOR LIFESTYLE PRACTICES AND LACK OF AWARENESS OF COMMUNITY HEALTH PROGRAMS OF PATIENTS. OF THE UNDERLYING FACTORS IDENTIFIED AFFECTING THE OUTCOME OF MANAGEMENT, ONLY EXERCISE HABITS DEFINED AS 30 MINUTES OF BRISK WALING 3 TIMES A WEEK SHOWS SIGNIFICANT ASSOCIATION (P=0.04830) THE PRESENT RESEARCH AIMS TO IDENTIFY THE PREVALENCE OF HYPERTENSION IN THE COMMUNITY, OUTCOME MANAGEMENT, AND FACTORS AFFECTING THE OUTCOME OF MANAGEMENT AND TO ASSESS THE KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDES AND PRACTICES (KAP) OF THE HYPERTENSIVE PATIENTS AT BRGY SNKI CAMARIN CALOOCA CITY FROM 2009 TO 2012 REGARDING HYPERTENSION AND ITS MANAGEMENT USING A KPA SURVEY.
