Summary: Abstract: Websites have become the most important public communication portal for most groups and organizations. Poorly designed websites may lead to readers losing interest and engagement - a serious problem when the information presented there includes important material such as information regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic. Due to the rise in the need for digital media in information dissemination, effective web page design is critical in engaging users. The opportunity to present information during the pandemic in the Philippines has come with a corresponding threat to constituents in the form of disinformation and misinformation. The means of communication has now become virtual, with different platforms active in providing information. This study aspires to help those who develop and create these digital media to better understand the importance of effective user engagement using web page design elements. The website developed in this study is dedicated solely to the drug development process for the drugs and vaccines under clinical trials for COVID-19 information which, in a time of a pandemic, is important knowledge for a student of pharmacy to have. This study's main focus is the assessment of effective user engagement with the webpage developed with the use of the webpage design elements.
