Summary: A dual use research of concern (DURC) is described as a scientific paper that posed both as beneficial, yet threatening due to its endpoints or aspects like being used to entice doom to various biological resource populations. This descriptive study determine the level of awareness of FER-NRMF School of Medical Laboratory Science researches in on dual use research in on dual use research, the conditions of experiments of dual use concern, the credentials of researchers, the technology used on certain threshold, the assessment on the level of threat, the publication of research and the different sources of information on dual use research of concern. FEU-NRMF School of Medical Laboratory Science Researchers are not fully aware of Dual Use Research. The participants regarded culture and sensitivity of microorganisms' as the most concern on dual use research while 'enhancing diagnosis of pathogens' as the least. Majority considered all the expertise and equipments as medium threat. It is therefore recommended that Dual Use Research must be incorporated in the curriculum and programs related to increasing awareness of DURC be implemented especially for researchers.
