ABSTRACT: Good Health increases the economic productivity of individuals and the economic growth of countries, investing in it is one means of accelerating development. That is why the health of the people is important to a nation. The most important goal in health care is the prevention of disease through immunization, the process by which vaccines are introduced into the body before infection sets in. And to promote the universal immunization worldwide, the WHO launched the Expanded Program on Immunization in 1974. Then, it was formerly launched in the Philippines on July 12, 1976. This particular study focused on determining the effectiveness of Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) as perceived by the mothers of child beneficiaries in selected barangays of Grace Park, Caloocan City.
