Summary: Abstract: This study seeks to determine the conformance of clinical instructors with the Jacobson`s Learning Model in teaching Related Learning Experience subject among third year nursing students of Far Eastern University-Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation, Specially, it sought to construct the profile of the third year nursing students of Far Eastern University-Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation; determined the degree of observed conformance of the clinical instructors with the dimensions of Jacobson`s Learning Model, namely: interpersonal relationships with students, personal characteristics, teaching practices, evaluation practices; and readiness to support students; and presented the comparable conformance of the Clinical Instructors with the Jacobson`s Learning Model along its different criteria. Using descriptive research method, the researchers came up with the significant findings and conclusions, that: out of 193 respondents, majority are currently 19 years of age; that the choice of nursing as a profession is still largely a feminine choice; that, most respondents came from private schools; and, that, most of the respondents belong to the middle class family. The observed conformance of clinical Instructors with Jacobson`s Model, presented in terms of the five criteria namely: Interpersonal Relationships with Students, Personal Characteristics, Teaching Practices, Evaluation Practices, and Readiness to Support Students, was "observed". As to the observed comparable conformance of clinical Instructors with the Jacobson`s Learning Model. "Teaching Practices" and "Evaluation Practices" Criteria obtained identical highest overall means of 3.7. The Criteria of "Interpersonal Relationship with Students", "Personal Characteristics" and "Readiness to Support Students", on the other hand, received identical lowest overall mean ratings of 3.6. In view of the findings and conclusions drawn from the study, the recommendations were made, thus: educational training programs or seminars concerning effective teaching strategies be especially formulated, particularly to new Clinical Instructors; the Clinical Instructors must conduct an open forum every after the clinical rotation; the Clinical Instructors must state their learning goals before each clinical rotation; the Clinical Instructors must encourage students to concentrate on learning tasks that require analysis and critical thinking rather that those that require note memorization; the students must review their lectures and procedures related to the area they are assigned before coming to duty; students must allot time in improving their skills by continuously practicing on procedures they are rarely exposed to ; and the students must show high regard toward improving their learning and study attitude.
