Summary: ABSTRACT: This study compared and differentiated the percentage of obesity in the philippines due to daily lifestyle. This study aims to determine the different factors affecting the increase in obesity. Similarly this study aims to cite several effects of obesity in the country as well as various ways to lessen the number of obese people. The significant of this study will benefit families, especially those who carry obesity in their genes, parents, students, medical practitioners, and other people living in urban areas for this will raise awareness on obesity and its effects. The researchers gathered data and information from different related studies and literatures on various sources. The researchers used the descriptive method to determine several factors which affects the increase in obesity, as well as the different effects in the country. Moreover, the researchers used comparative method to determine the gradual change on the percentage of obesity in the philippines.
