Summary: Abstract: Cancer is identified as the 5th leading cause of death in the last 8 years. Breast cancer is the 2nd major malignancy in the Philippine today. Early detection of this disease could mean greater chance of cure. The main trust of this action program is early detection of breast cancer, designed according to the knowledge, attitude and practices (KAP) on breast cancer CA of the target population. The respondents of this program were female 1st-3rd year medical students of FEU-NRMF. Selection of the respondents was done by systematic random sampling. A self-administered questionnaire were to measure their KAP on breast CA & breast self-examination (BSE). The breast cancer program (Oplan : Sagip Suso) was designed to undertake the following activities: pamphlet and bookmark distribution, an exhibit with film showing and hands-on practice of palpation on breast models. A Descriptive method of analysis of data was done. Analysis using test of two means and chi-square test results showed a significant change between the respondent's KAP before (pre-test_ and after (post-test) the "Oplan : Sagip Suso" program. Results show a significant increase in the respondents knowledge, attitude and practices about breast cancer and BSE following the 'Oplan : Sagip Suso" program.
