Summary: Abstract: A sportsfest had been sponsored to increase the participation of core group leaders and members in the ongoing action program against drug abuse. A total of 103 participants represented a 202.94% increase from the previous 26.13%. Such activity also provided an alternative against drug abuse. A total of thirteen newly elected core group leaders and officers underwent a lecture and workshop on leadership. Pre-test and post-test evaluation done to determine their baseline knowledge on leadership showed a significant increase of 12.30%. As part of the reinforcement of the campaign against drug abuse, information dessimination on the commonly abused drugs and their adverse effects have been attained showing a significant difference in the prre-test and post test evaluation from 66% to 81% respectively.
