Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the attitudes of nursing students towards older people, the degree of willingness of nursing students to work with older adults including their perception, and the significance of the relationship between the ageist attitudes and willingness of the FEU-NRMF nursing students to work with older people. The study utilized a cross-sectional research design to identify, analyze and determine the variables' relationship. The data were gathered using Kogan's Attitude towards Older People Scale (KAOPS) and Student Perception of Working with Older People Questionnaire. Frequencies, percent share and mean scores were used to determine the ageist attitudes of nursing students towards older people. Pearson's correlation coefficients were used to determine the correlation of the two categories. The results indicate that nursing students from FEU-NRMF have a slightly positive ageist attitude. They see older adults as independent, comfortable, wise, entertaining, well-groomed, congenial and funny. The results also showed that the participants are willing to work with older adults. The relationship between the ageist attitude of nursing students and their willingness to work with older adults came out to be a moderate positive relationship.
