Abstract: With the rapid advancement of technology, researches probe for modern approaches for the treatment of low back pain. Recent interventions incorporate the use of gadgets and virtual reality for effective low back pain rehabilitation. The purpose of the study id to collect and appraise present evidence regarding game-based treatment for chronic low back pain. This rapid review study was performed based on the Arksey and O'Malley Methodological framework for sorting and reporting the reviews of the gathered journals. The researches utilize the PRISMA flow chart in order to show the phases of data collection of this rapid review. An exhaustive search on NCBI, MEDLINE, PubMed, Cochrane Central, Lilacs, Proquest and EBSCoHost to identify articles related to the study. The articles were reviewed using the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The fourteen (14) RCT that were included in the study reported the benefits of game based rehabilitation for treating chronic low back pain. This includes its effectiveness in decreasing pain-intensity and improving trunk mobility, postural balance, physical function and quality of life of patients who are experiencing chronic low back pain (CLBP). The results of the studies showed that the use of new technologies can be an intervention to prevent and cure low back pain that can be used in clinical practice. However, these studies still exhaustive research to confirm further effectiveness and feasibility in different populations and settings.
