Summary: ABSTRACT: Graphic Health Warning Law or RA 10643 of July 15, 2014 was adopted to address the increasing number of smokers in the Philippines. For 2 years of implementation, its impact on the majority of the Filipinos smokers is still uncertain. We seek to assess the impact of Graphic Health Warning Labels (GHWL) on cigarette packages to the smoking behavior of adults smokers based on the (1) changes in consumption, (2) thoughts/attempts to quit, and (3) prevalence of successful cessation in smoking.
