Summary: Abstract: This study reviewed to increase the diagnostic accuracy of RT-PCR in detecting persons infected with SARS-Cov-2. The RT-PCR is primarily used in diagnosing SARS-Cov-2 viral genetic material. The researches seek to improve the RT-PCR with the help of CT Scan that appears to show ground-glass opacity, multilobed and posterior infections, and bilateral pneumonia and hematologic parameters that shows increased levels of neutrophil, wbc, crp and procalcitonin and low levels of lymphocytes. Recent data indicate that the accuracy of RT-PCR for SARS-CoV-2 detection is less than the ideal 100 percent. Chest CT scan offers rapid, easy and efficient result to prevent unisolated individuals from infecting others. The method that we use will present results by combining and analyzing data from other studies and researches conducted by means of similar research topics. This is a descriptive analysis of the data that will be utilized. With this in mind, the use of CBC and Chest CT will aid in the prognosis of COVID-19 patients and also help RT-PCR in decreasing the false results.
