Summary: Abstract: To determine which of the two positions, Kendall and Angel wing, elicits the maximal rhomboid electromyographic activity - ultrasound guided in asymptomatic. Third and fourth year PT students from Far Eastern University - Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation. Needle Insertion Guided by ultrasound: with patient side lying, and arm internally rotated with dorsal aspect of hand on the back, insert needle between medial border of scapula and mid back. Kendall position: With the patient prone (head facing the test side) and the test arm adducted against the chest wall, the scapula adducted and elevated with the elbow flexed fully and the shoulder slightly extended. Second position is the Angel Wing: It is done in standing position, shoulder adducted , elbow in 90 degrees flexion; forearm in neutral and subject will then retract the scapula. Main outcome measure: peak 1-second normalized EMG activity in the rhomboid muscle during the two positions, Kendall and Wing
