Summary: ABSTRACT: This study aims to determine the pastoral care rendered to the sick among the selected secondary hospitals within North, Quezon City as perceived by selected nurses in Bernardino General Hospital and Dr. Montano Ramos General Hospital. We would like to impact this study to the hospitals and to the nurses for better understanding of pastoral care rendered by the pastoral workers. This study mainly focuses on the knowledge of the pastoral care rendered by the pastoral workers perceived by selected nurses of Bernardino General Hospital and Dr. Montano General Hospital. The common pastoral care given was as follows: Counselling, Anointing of the sick, Communion, Confession, Spiritual guidance. This study is also designated to improve the nursing services, specifically their knowledge or awareness regarding sacraments given to a dying person and enhance their relationship towards to their patient especially chronically ill.
