Summary: ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study is to determine the level of awareness of Grade 12 students of Far Easter University - Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundationenrolled in second semester school year 2017 - 2018 on the effects of electric jeepneys. This study utilized the descriptive-correlational design to assess and evaluate the relationship between the level of awareness of 147 Grade 12 students on e-jeepney and its effects. The results show that the Grade 12 students are moderately aware of e-jeepneys in terms of production, use and maintenance, and as public utility vehicle. They are also aware of the effects of e-jeepneys to th society, economy and environmental. In addition, it was found out that there is no significant relationship between the level of awareness of Grade 12 students on e-jeepney and its effects. From the findings, it is concluded that majority of the respondents are aware on e-jeepney and are moderately aware on its effects to the society, economy, and environment. The foregoing results was then found to have made an intervention program that can be implemented to ensure the satisfactory level of awareness of the respondents on e-jeepneys which will help them appreciate its contribution to the economy, society and environment better.
