Summary: Abstract: Good knowledge about proper hygiene practices is essential because it promotes a better and healthier life. The goal of this study was to determine whether using TikTok as an information-sharing platform is a way to correct misconceptions students have about hygiene. It aimed to identify misconceptions senior high school students have about hygiene, find out how using TikTok can educate them, and identify the impacts it had on them. The study utilized a descriptive research design to understand senior high school student's knowledge of hygiene misconception, From the (30) senior high school students from Far Eastern University - Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation who were given questionnaires, it was found out that senior high school students believed in hygiene misconceptions. However, after showing them the TikTok videos explaining the misconceptions, the students gained a better understanding of good hygiene practices. The positive impacts outweigh the negative. With the proper intervention from credible sources, TikTok being a platform that spreads information quickly, can be used to teach senior high school students the right understanding of hygiene.
